Episode VII z-95 1:1 prop model

Post by Spart » Tue Jul 22, 2014 4:36 pm

It looks like an x-wing however it differs from the original x-wing seen in the original trilogy because it only has dual engines. It might be a z-95 or a successor of the x-wing.

That's the new X-Wing. Seems to be based on the original McQuarrie concepts.

Glad to know that it's not ONLY CGI.

That's probably because the prop itself can't. It was built for scenes of people walking in and out of it. When it flies and opens up it's s-foils,(that's the term, right?) it'll probably be a model, or more likely CGI.

Call me a heretic, but I think I prefer this new X-Wing over the original.

But it doesnt look like its even meant to look like its supposed to split. Its just one wing isnt it?
